Asking for help isn't inherently a bad thing. We're often told that to be strong, we have to do it ourselves. To be brave, we can do it alone. To be stoic, to have a stiff upper lip, that we should and can tough it out. This isn't a thing that just men have to deal with, though they have it MUCH worse than women do.
